MeadowLark Montessori School is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to children spanning 2.5 to 9 years of age.

The school calendar generally follows that of the local School District 27 J. An educational summer program is offered yearly. Before and After School Care programs are available to students enrolled in our regular programs at an additional charge. Please contact us for tuition rates.

Children typically begin in a Montessori preschool at the age of 2.5 or 3 and may stay until they are 8 or 9, the end of the traditional 3rd Grade year. A child may be in a Montessori early childhood program for three or four years, depending on the age and developmental stage at which he or she enters and in the elementary program for an additional 3 years, up to 3rd Grade. A variety of full and half day programs are available to families as well as before and after school care. Every effort is made to keep classes balanced as much as possible according to age and gender.
